Metal Implements Sterilized & Sealed
At AQUASPA, we use a special heat-sterilization method called “autoclaving” for all of our metal implements. Autoclaving represents the highest level of sterilization and is standard procedure at medical facilities in the U.S. (in accordance with AMA, FDA and EPA guidelines), but is still relatively rare in the nail salon world. After autoclaving, the implements are placed into individual sealed, disposable, sanitation pouches (just like you see at the dentist’s office) and opened at the start of each manicure or pedicure service.

To ensure the highest level of sanitation, we use individually sealed disposable manicure and pedicure kits which include nail files, buffers, and foot files.
Ongoing Disinfecting of Sinks and Tabletops
Throughout the day, we wipe down sinks and tabletops with a special hospital-grade solution to remove debris, kill bacteria, and prevent the spread of germs. Your safety and comfort is our top priority.
